Sparkling Gourami - Trichopsis pumila
Also known as the Pygmy Gourami. They grow up to 1.5" max, making them popular with nano tanks around 5 gallons (though at least 10g is suggested if more are kept together).
These little fish are great for planted tanks and fare off better in lower pH water.
Size is about 0.5 - 1 inch.

Fish arrived healthy, lively and beautiful. They have even starting "talking." I think they love their new tank. After acclimation, they already are exploring and started eating. A very good sign. They were packed very carefully and safely. Thank you for the wonderful fish!!

Fast Arrival/ Great Fish
I was impressed with the packaging of these fish. The bag of fish had a heating pad, a small package of vegetation (which my husband was very excited about), inside a styrophome box, wrapped in newspaper layers and inside another cardboard box. Out of the 10 fish we ordered, only one didn't make it. My son had opened the box before I got home and had been carrying it around with him. So that is probably why we lost one fish. Our family adores the addition of these Sparkling Gourami with their cute little blue eyes.

Shipped well and came in healthy
All five that I ordered arrived doubled bagged in a way that prevented them from getting stuck in the corners of the bag and arrived with heat packs still nice and warm. They did come in a bit smaller than I was expecting, and a bit skinny, but all in all I'm very happy with my purchase. They've acclimated well and haven't shown any signs of illness since arrival.
