UNS makes premium rimless glass aquariums, substrates, CO2 systems, lighting, and aquascaping tools — the full package for a Nature Aquarium setup. The problem is finding them in person. Most stores don't carry UNS. You order online, pay shipping, and hope the glass arrives in one piece.

Select UNS products are available online at PetZoneSD.com. Substrates, tools, and accessories ship nationwide. Rimless glass aquariums are available for local pickup only — shipping glass is a bad time for everyone involved.
Q: What's the difference between UNS tank models?
A: The letters indicate the style. "U" is the standard rimless, "C" is cube, "L" is long, "S" is shallow, "T" is tall, "N" is nano, "P" is standard proportion. The numbers refer to the tank's dimensions in centimeters. For example, a 90P is roughly 90cm long — about a 17-gallon standard-proportion tank.
Q: Do I need UNS soil, or can I use something else?
A: UNS Contra Soil is excellent for planted tanks — it buffers pH and provides nutrients for root-feeding plants. You can use other substrates, but Contra Soil is designed to work with the Nature Aquarium approach. If you're doing a high-tech planted tank, it's the way to go. For low-tech or Walstad, talk to Pascal — he'll tell you what works.
Q: Can I special-order a UNS tank you don't have in stock?
A: Yes. We can order from UNS's full lineup. Call the Convoy location at (858) 987-0309 and we'll get it sorted.
Q: Are UNS tanks rimless only?
A: UNS specializes in rimless glass aquariums. They also make the Dual All-In-One (fresh and marine) systems, paludariums, and reef systems. The focus is on clean, rimless aesthetics — no plastic trim, no black silicone seams, just glass.
