Blue Acara Cichlid
The Acara is generally known to be peaceful for a cichlid.
Size is around 1-1.5 inches.
This dwarf cichlid is in The same family as the green terror (Andinoacara) but is small and peaceful. Unlike larger sized cichlids of this variety the Blue Acara is an excellent choice for semi aggressive community tanks of the smaller type. Maxing out at around 5.5” a mature specimen is a sight to behold with shiny blue and green scales, flowing fins and orange tips. They appreciate driftwood with a diet of pellets and worms.
