Classic Nature Aquascaping Class at Citizen Brewers - October 10
Posted by Roger Ma on on 10th Sep 2026

Two upcoming events, one paid and one free, are open to the San Diego aquascaping community this fall. Here is the first: a hands-on Classic Nature aquascaping class where you build a planted nano aquarium and take it home the same night.
Classic Nature Aquascaping Class at Citizen Brewers
Join the PetZoneSD team at Citizen Brewers in Mission Valley for a hands-on class exploring Classic and Nature style aquascaping. We will cover the fundamentals — composition, balance, scale, and plant selection — and then you will build your own layout with driftwood, stone, and live plants while we answer questions throughout.
This is a real build, not a lecture. Everyone leaves with a finished planted nano aquarium.
What Is Included
- Glass nano tank, 1–1.5 gallon — yours to keep
- Aquasoil substrate
- Hardscape — driftwood and stone
- Live aquarium plants
- One hour of hands-on instruction from the PetZoneSD team
