Monoculus Peacock Bass - Cichla monoculus This listing is for one mono peacock bass at about 3-4 inches roughly. Currently eating a mixture of live feeders and bloodworms. Very hardy eater, they will even eat dead feeders. These beautiful bass are known as peacocks due to the peacock “eye” spot on the tail. These fish ( Mono Bass ) are large colorful predators that get notable stripes from top their backs to about the middle of their bodies. Known as a prize catch by anglers they are equally coveted in the aquarium hobby. Like most Bass they are heavy bodied, large and powerful. Adult specimens can reach 31” and 20 lb !
