Panther Crab - PARATHELPHUSA PANTHERINA
The Panther Crab is one of the few true aquatic crabs in the hobby.
They are fairly new to the hobby and do well with larger community friendly fish due to their smaller claws though they can go after other inverts and small bottom dwelling fish.
Despite being fully aquatic, they will still go out on land and will find ways to escape if the tank isn't secured.
These crabs love to eat a good mix of meats and vegetation along with just about anything else that is aquatic food (variety is key to good health).
Fully grown, they reach about 4-5" on average (3" for the body + 1-2" for legs/claws).

Not DOA, they were fine after 24 hours but I have lost track of them. Love the look of them though!

Panther Crabs
Cute little guys/gals? Crabs arrived next day air. They were very well packaged in there Styrofoam box. I floated the bag for a good half hour before putting them in the tank. They pretty much hide during the day and come out at night. The crabs(got 5) are in there species only tank. I might add a few guppies to the tank. These are very pretty Crabs and would recommend to anyone wanting something different

Thank you so much guys, was hoping to order two but only one in stock, it came double bagged with Java moss inside the crabs bag and they also included an extra good handful For free in a separate bag upon request. Crab arrived healthy and lively, all limbs attached and beautiful coloration. You guys rock and I’ll be ordering again from you soon! Thanks a ton for sending me a happy healthy little specimen(body 1 inch across) I did check the gender and I received a female, maybe when you have more in stock I suggest providing a gender or “paired” option.
