Homalomena Sp. Sekadau South

Homalomena Sekadau is a flowering plant belonging to the same family as Bucephalandra. It is considered a rare plant and you're not likely going to see it at your local fish store. Like Buce, it's an easy plant to care for and can be grown both submerged and emerged. Homalomena doesn't require that much lighting to thrive.  They are slow growers and too much light can cause algae growth on the leaves, much like Anubias and Buce. To plant, simply attach the rhizome to rock or wood and place it into your aquarium. Propagate by cutting along the rhizome.
