What Is a Panther Crab

Panther Crabs are omnivores. They eat sinking pellets algae wafers bloodworms brine shrimp vegetables and bits of fish or shrimp. They enjoy plant matter as well as protein. They are enthusiastic eaters and will quickly search the bottom for food. Feeding once a day or every other day is usually enough.

Behavior

Panther Crabs are active and full of personality. They spend a lot of time exploring digging and climbing. They may show territorial behavior especially as adults. They can nip at tank mates and may hunt slow or small animals so tank mates must be chosen carefully.
