Blue Dream Dwarf Shrimp
The Blue Dream Dwarf Shrimp is one of the most vibrant and sought-after freshwater dwarf shrimp varieties. Known for its solid, deep blue coloration, this Neocaridina shrimp adds a striking pop of color to any planted aquarium. The intensity of their blue can range from a lighter sapphire to a darker, almost midnight shade, making them stand out beautifully against green plants and natural aquascapes.
These shrimp are peaceful, active, and thrive when kept in groups. They are excellent algae eaters and scavengers, feeding on biofilm, leftover food, and decaying plant matter, which helps keep the aquarium clean. Their small size and non-aggressive nature make them ideal for community tanks with other peaceful inhabitants, though they should not be housed with larger or aggressive fish.
Blue Dream Shrimp are hardy and easy to care for, making them a great option for both beginner and experienced aquarists. With stable water parameters and good tank maintenance, they will readily breed, creating a self-sustaining colony.
