 | Dwarf Goldeneye (Nannacara anomala)These gorgeous fish are true dwarf cichlids in every sense of the word with males growing to an average max size of 3" (~7.5cm) and the females getting to about 1.5" (~3.8cm) long. Their namesake, a pair of piercing golden eyes, are not only striking but will surely stand out in their tank.
Dwarf Goldeneyes prefer softer, acidic water with plenty of cover to hide behind so make sure to pick up some of our smaller pieces of driftwood to kill two birds with one stone! |

They prefer heavily planted tanks in order to feel safe, the more cover they have the better the chances of breeding get.
