Anubias Minima

Anubias minima – Narrow-Leaf Anubias

Anubias minima is a hardy, slow-growing aquatic plant known for its elongated, lance-shaped leaves and rich green coloration. Smaller and more delicate in appearance than some of its larger relatives, this variety adds graceful texture and structure to midground or hardscape-focused aquascapes without demanding special care.

Features:

  • Narrow, arching leaves that grow in elegant clusters

  • Naturally attaches to driftwood, rocks, or decor

  • Tolerant of low light and wide-ranging water conditions

  • Highly durable—resistant to nibbling fish and ideal for low-tech setups

Growth & Care:

  • Lighting: Low to moderate

  • CO₂: Not required

  • Water Parameters: pH 6.0–7.5 | Temperature 22–28°C (72–82°F)

  • Growth Rate: Slow

  • Placement: Foreground to midground, depending on layout

Care Tips:

  • Do not bury the rhizome—attach to hardscape using thread or glue

  • Clean gently if algae accumulates on leaves in high light setups

  • Trim yellowing leaves at the base to promote new growth

Ideal For:
Aquarists seeking a low-maintenance, decorative plant for hardscape enhancement or shaded areas. Perfect for nano tanks, shrimp tanks, and peaceful community aquariums.
