The Albino Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare) is a selectively bred variant of the classic freshwater angelfish, known for its pale white to cream coloration and vivid red eyes. Its tall, laterally compressed body and long, trailing fins make it a stunning showpiece in community tanks and aquascapes.

Albino Angelfish do best in taller aquariums with plenty of vertical space, gentle water flow, and a mix of open swimming area and plants or décor for cover. They’re generally peaceful, but like other angelfish, they may become territorial, especially when pairing off or spawning.

With proper care, Albino Angelfish can live for many years and reach 4–6 inches (10–15 cm) in body size, with even longer fins. They are a rewarding, engaging species that often recognizes and interacts with their keeper at feeding time.
