The corydora catfish or 'cory cat' is an adorable bottom feeder that comes in all shapes and patterns. They add a ton of fun and energy to any tank!
Albina Corydora- Corydoras aeneus

One popular color is the albino corycat! It has a typical albino coloring- white body, red eyes, and will get up to 1.25 inches!

Like all cory cats, they are bottom scavengers. They'll eat food that your other fish fail to eat but would definitely enjoy a treat of brine shrimp ;)

Bronze corydora- Corydoras aeneus

The bronze corycat is also known as the green corydora. They are very active and add a ton of life to the bottom of your tank!

They come in pretty small, but females can grow up to 2.5 inches!

Panda Corydora- Corydoras Panda
Skunk Corydora-Corydoras Arcuatus)

Two of our favorite patterned corycats are the panda (L) and skunk (R). Their markings resemble their respective animal names!

Corydoras are a social fish. They should be kept in groups of 5 or more! Watching corys interact with each other is a game in itself, so the more the merrier!

Pygmy corydora- Corydoras Pygmaeus

The pymy corycat is one of the smallest catfish in the hobby with a maximum size of 1.2 inches!

Your best bet at finding corys in the wild would be in South American lakes and streams.Their natural habitat has tons of plants so they're gonna love your planted tanks-especially if theres little crevices to hide from the sun! They would prefer sand to larger gravel substrates.
