Peacock Gudgeon - Tateurndina ocellicauda
The Peacock Gudgeon is the most popular freshwater "sleeper goby" fish and has a striking appearance (especially the males), hence their name.
They are a peaceful fish though they shouldn't be kept with bite sized fish or inverts as they are predators. They thrive in planted tanks and their colors brighten up once they settle into their new homes.
Size is about 1.5".
I asked for a male peacock gudgeon because I already had two females. He arrived healthy and is loving hanging out with the ladies.
Smaller than expected. Color dull. It is healthy. Hoping color intensifies as it grows.
